    En sus llamadas en Español y conversaciones amigables para miembros de familia de personas sordo ciegas que hablan Español.  Estas llamadas son gratis, confidenciales y un lugar seguro donde las familias pueden apoyarse unas a otras compartiendo la sabiduría aprendida atreves de su travesía. Compartiendo éxitos, ideas, dificultades, y estar ahi para ofrecerse apoyo unos a otros ya con otras familias.

    Las llamadas son cada 3er Martes a las 5:30 PM PT / 8:30 pm ET.

      • Legislative briefing on advocacy issues (for professionals, parents, deaf school alumni, and high school students), then pre-arranged meetings with Congressional representatives (sponsored by Conference of Educational Administrators of Schools and Programs for the Deaf).

    In its 19th year, the EHDI Meeting has built a strong reputation for bringing together a wide variety of attendees including those who: work in state Early Hearing Detection and Intervention programs; assist in EHDI efforts on the federal level; provide screening, diagnostic and early intervention support at the state/ local level to young children with hearing loss and their families; champion Medical Home activities within each state; are parents of children with hearing loss; or are deaf or hard-of-hearing adults who are helping to expand opportunities for young children with hearing loss. EHDI Meeting participants will range from state and local programs to the federal level and from academics to families.
