SHARE YOUR STORY

Our website is dedicated to helping families with deaf-blind individuals connect with other families around the country. We encourage families to share their stories with other families so they know they are not alone. Some of the ways you can help include:

  • Write your story, or be willing to be interviewed, for our publications, website, or trainings
  • Share your family photos and videos for our publications, website, or trainings

On our website, we publish Family Spotlights (brief profiles of individuals with deaf-blindness and their families) and Family Journeys (longer, more in-depth stories). We’re always looking for more stories to add!

Please let us know how you would like to share your story with other families. Your comments or questions are welcome.

Write my story, or be interviewed, for NFADB publications, website, or trainings

become a nfadb ambassador:

Calling all NFADB Members!

We need NFADB Ambassadors across the states to help us further our mission of empowering and supporting families of individuals who are Deaf-Blind to advocate for their unique needs.

NFADB Ambassadors serve as the faces and voices of our Association. They help build brand recognition, successfully share our beliefs, mission and most importantly connect families with NFADB and other important resources and networking opportunities. The purpose of NFADB Ambassador Training is to help the board, general members, and other interested individuals (such as affiliates, and or committee members) feel comfortable promoting NFADB to a variety of audiences.

NFADB Members only will receive an invitation for the next upcoming Ambassador training session.

For more information, please contact Donia Shirley donia@nfadb.org or Nilam Agrawal nilam@nfadb.org
